Flugrease X2 XXL lubricating grease is a special PFPE-based lubricating grease with PTFE and Boron Nitride additives for special applications with long lubrication intervals and exposure to high temperatures or in the presence of oxygen.
PFPE is a synthetic polymer known for its chemical stability, resistance to high temperatures and chemical inertness. It is an excellent lubricating base for demanding operating conditions. The addition of PTFE and Boron Nitride as additives to the PFPE-based lubricating grease gives additional lubrication and friction reduction properties. PTFE forms a solid, durable layer on metal surfaces, reducing friction and wear.
Boron Nitride, on the other hand, is known for its solid lubrication properties at high temperatures and its resistance to pressure. The addition of these two additives to the lubricating grease increases its performance in applications with extreme requirements.
